Wanda M. Wells

MEXICO- Wanda May Wells, 84, of 931 Co. Rt. 35 died on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Oswego Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on September 16, 1930 in Black River, New York to Kenneth D. and Grace Gertrude Taylor Graham. She attended school at North Jr. High School and Watertown High.
She married Robert Wells on January 29, 1950 at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Watertown. She was a homemaker. The couple has been married for 65 years.
They have six children, Dwight (Jean) Wells, Port Charlotte, Florida; Judy (Gary) Allen, Rutland; JoAnne(Gary) Flood, Newark; Yancey (Kay) Wells, Mexico; Sarah (David) Crossett, Fulton, and Robin (Brian) Braud, Port Charlotte, Florida. She is also survived by two brothers, Bernard (Maureen) Graham, Watertown; David Graham, North Carolina; and a sister Marilyn Buckingham, Port Charlotte, Florida, and 10 -Grandchildren and 9- Great-Grandchildren.
She was a member of the Colosse Baptist Church in Parish, New York. She loved baking pies, Berry picking and gardening.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in Sanford Corners Cemetery in Calcium. Arrangements are being handled by the Northridge Cremation Chapel by Lundy. Online condolences can be made to www.lundyfuneralhome.com
