WATERTOWN- Tononica S. Reynolds, 41 of S. Rutland Street died peacefully on Thursday February 11, 2021 at the Samaritan Medical Center. She was born on December 10, 1979 in Fort Polk, Louisiana to the late Merritt M. Reynolds, Jr. & Kathaleen A. Hasseler. She graduated from Copenhagen Central School in 1998. She graduated from Jefferson Community College with and Associates Degree, and after that she attended college in Utica. She is survived by her companion Michael Schaber, Watertown; a brother Merritt M. (Christian) Reynolds III., and a sister Sirina (John) Phelps both of Watertown, NY; along with several aunts and uncles and nephews. Tononica loved sports and was extremely competitive in all aspects of her life. She was selfless and charitable, willing to help anyone in need, and always prioritized others.
She loved unconditionally and always put family first, including her furry family. She was opinionated and stubborn, but that was part of her charm. There were no secrets with her; You always knew how she felt.
She had an undeniable magnetism that drew people in and the warmth of her light will continue to shine in the lives of those lucky enough to have known her. There will be no services. A private graveside service will be held by the family in the spring in the Dexter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to any local animal shelter in her name.
