BLACK RIVER - Timothy Alan "Porky" Granger, 51, of Staplin Road, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at his home. Tim was born on December 1, 1968 in Watertown, NY, a son to the late Terry Lee and Nancy (Howard) Granger. He graduated high school and went on to work for his father's company, Terry Granger Paving Inc. On January 4, 2018, Tim married Julie Woods. Tim and Julie have been together forever. Tim loved to work and pave, that is what he enjoyed doing all the time. He was a fun and loving person, often known as the jokester. He had major "OCD" and was known to criticize every restaurant in the area. He is survived by his wife, Julie, Black River, NY; his three children, Timothy Falgout, Louisiana; Jalynne Granger, Mannsville, NY; Alana Granger, Colorado; two step children, Crystal Woods, Denver, CO; Taylor Paine, Albany, NY; two siblings, Fuzzy (Izzy) Granger, Watertown, NY; Brandi (Randy) Freeman, Black River, NY; his aunt, Aunt Starr; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Per the family's request, there will be no public services. Memorial donations may be made in Tim's name to Boston University's Amyloidosis Center, 830 Harrison Ave 3rd floor, Boston, MA 02118.
