Stephen Joseph Swike

Carthage – Stephen J. Swike, 76, of Wrape Road, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born on August 30, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts to the late John T. & Susanna MacMillan. He graduated from Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He served in the United States Navy. Stephen married Henriette Slapak in Brockton, Massachusetts.. 

His services will be held privately by his family. 

He was a maintenance supervisor for Continental Airlines, retiring in 2008. He and his wife moved to Northern New York to spend their retirement. 

Stephen is survived by his wife, Henriette Swike, Carthage; his children, Michelle Swike, Carthage; his two sons, Richard Swike, and Andrew Swike, both of Ormond Beach, Florida. His siblings, Suzanne Haverty, Honolulu; Frances Swike, Anne Swike, Boston, Ma; Irene Visocchi, Plymouth, Ma; Alan Swike, Philippines; Jane Swike, Maine; Philip Swike, Boston; Christopher Swike, Boston; his grandchildren, Laura Nicole and Carlie Marie. 

He is predeceased by his parents and a brother Roger Swike.
