Starr S. Brennan

Watertown - Starr S. Brennan, 77, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, while at home. 

Starr was born on February 22, 1947, in Watertown to the late Kenneth and Theresa (Gilligan) Granger. She attended Watertown Central School. Starr worked as a seamstress for some time at Olga Knitting Mill. She married Chuck Brennan on December 7, 1968, in Watertown.

Starr had a gift when it came to crafting. With an eye for design, Starr was able to take something and breathe new life into it, whether it was restoring furniture or hand-painting beautiful patterns. After her husband's passing in 2016, Starr rediscovered her passion for cooking and baking and was often offering to host her friends and family to try out her new recipes. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her cats, her family, and her friends.

She is survived by a brother, Richard (Fran) Granger of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Peggy Granger; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Russ and Bonnie Deline; and her beloved cats, Gray, Onyx, and Hoppy.

She is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Chuck Brennan; her sister, Patricia (Harry) Martin; her brothers, Terry (Nancy) Granger, Kenneth “Ronnie” Granger, William Granger, John Granger, and Sonny Granger; her nephews, John Jr. and Tim Granger; and nieces, Patty Ann Martin, Teresa Granger, Debbie Granger.
