Rodney J. Guyette

CARTHAGE- Rodney J. Guyette, 55, formerly of 317 N. Washington Street died on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Jefferson County Hospice House in Watertown where he's resided since January; he has been battling cancer since 2011. He was born on April 2, 1960 in Watertown, New York to Donald & Marjorie Smith Guyette. He attended Watertown High School. He married Kathryn Wetmore in 2010.
He worked for Jefferson Rehabilitation Center as Direct Care Staff and in the Maintenance Department before retiring due to his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, Carthage; a son James Guyette, Carthage; and two daughters, Crystal and Melissa, he is also survived by two step-children, Travis Wetmore, Maryland and Trixie Wetmore, Texas; two brothers, Ray Guyette, Black River; and Donald Guyette, Georgia.
He is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Devona Stanton.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 in the Hillside Cemetery in Natural Bridge at 1:00pm.
