OGDENSBURG - Robert W. Dumas, 80, 256 County Route 28, died Wednesday morning, August 12, 2015 at home, under the care of his family and Hospice of St. Lawrence County.
Born in Moira, NY on December 31, 1934, the son of William H. and Mary Perry Dumas, he graduated from Saranac Lake High School. He married Charlotte N. Darrah on January 28, 1956. Mr. Dumas was a truck driver for Madden's Transfer & Storage in Saranac Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, his daughters; Pamela Aubin, Henderson, Denise Lawrence, Lake Claire, and Rhonda Furgison, Ogdensburg. Also surviving is his sister, Irene Hewlett, Canton, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are being handled by the Northridge Cremation Chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home.
