Melony S. Gray

WATERTOWN – Melony S. Gray, 46, of 519 Mundy Street., passed early Sunday morning, February 23, 2025, at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

Born on September 11, 1978, in Sylacauga, Alabama, the daughter of the late Eric Reiley and Terry Thomas. Melony graduated from Watertown High School. 

She is survived by her mother, Terry (Waters) Thomas, Watertown, her children, Ashli Pound and her partner, Donald Richards, Texas; Kylie Duprey, Pennsylvania; Trinity Duprey, NY; and Seth (Danee) Reiley, of Texas. She is also survived by several siblings, Nora (James) Embrey, Texas; Kathleen (Jay) Wheeler, Florida; and William Reiley, New York; as well as her beloved 6 grandchildren, Calla N. Poling (7), Jaistyn R. Richards (2), Aurora L. Richards (1), Octavia A. Richards (5m), Alaric L.C. Reiley (3), Mateo J. Marrero (2), and 3 bonus grandchildren, Phoenix R. Richards (6), Ethan A. Bauries (10) and Aria M. M. Bauries (8).

Melony was best known for her forever smile and silly spirits. She loved taking walks, she was an avid collector of anything and everything, and she had quite a knack for all things art. In addition to these hobbies, Melony had an unwavering admiration of dolphins, and often found herself immersed in her drawings, books, and dictionary. 

She will be missed by many and remembered by most.
