Kathy L. Bernier

 Watertown - Kathy Bernier, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, while at Samaritan Medical Center with her family by her side.

A public calling hour will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Lundy Funeral Home, located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619. A memorial service will follow the calling hour at 12 pm in the Lundy Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Carthage.

Kathy was born on December 26, 1955, to the late Freddy and Helen (Blanchard) Babcock. She attended Carthage Central School and graduated in 1974. Kathy was a stay-at-home mom for many years until her kids were grown and on their own. After that, she started working at Sam's Club in Watertown where she worked until she got sick.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her best friend and life partner of 50 years, Ricky Beaudoin; her son, Michael Bernier of Watertown, her daughter, Dawn Bernier, and her boyfriend, Negron, of Watertown, her daughter, Tracy Gaines and husband Michael Gaines of Black River, and sons, Ricky Beaudoin of Watertown, Randy Beaudoin of Watertown, Billey Beaudoin of Watertown, and Tim Beaudoin and his life partner, Jena Metzger, of Buffalo; her twelve grandchildren; her sisters, Linda Kizzer and Tammy Limbaugh, both of Carthage; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Freddy and Helen; a sister, Mary Lancaster, a brother, Fred Babcock, and a sister, Charlene Babcock.
