CHAMPION Julie Fiaschetti, 63, of Line School Road, died on Friday, May 11, 2018 at home, under the loving care of her family and Jefferson County Hospice.
Julie was born on July 7, 1954 in Anchorage, Alaska, a daughter of James R. and Jeanne S. (Schermerhorn) Church. She graduated from Carthage Central School. She was employed as a Bus Driver for the Carthage School District, retiring after 37 years of service.
She is survived by three children, James Jim (Carolyn) Fiaschetti of Carthage; Jenna (Tyler) Adle of Maryland; Joseph Seymour of Carthage; a step-daughter, Margarita Petrie of Watertown; a step-son, Charlie Carr of Harrisville; four siblings, Becky Adkison of Ohio; Charlotte Moore of Florida; Mary Eddy of Champion; Sandy Cannan of Natural Bridge and her long-time companion of Charlie Carr Sr. of Harrisville; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and of course, her faithful canine companion, Ceasar.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 9:00 AM in the Second United Methodist Church of Champion with Rev. Sung Ah Choi officiating. A memorial reception will immediately follow the service at the Champion Fire Hall. Burial will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Champion.
