Judith A. Shawcross

Watertown - Judith A. Shawcross, 79, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, while at Samaritan Medical Center.

Per her wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date, to be announced.

Judith was born on December 5, 1945, in Watertown to the late George and Dorothy (Smith) Cook. She graduated from Indian River High School. Judith worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, most commonly in various security jobs around the North County and in many states across the country. After her marriage to Clarence Shawcross, they welcomed their only daughter, Vicky.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicky (Dennis) Delong; and her six grandchildren, Kyle Delong, Cody Delong, John Brow, Kelly Brow, Caleb Brow, and Chris Munson.

Judith is predeceased by her parents, George and Dorothy; her husband, Clarence Shawcross; and a brother, Donnie Cook.

Judith would be described as a tiny lady with a larger-than-life personality. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, and spent much of her time knitting and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
