Calcium- Joseph R. Tierney, 71, died peacefully early morning on May 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving brother Jim at the Carthage Centre for Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was born on July 10, 1952, in Watertown, NY to the late Edward & Iola (Booth) Tierney.
Services will be held privately by his family.
Joseph graduated from Watertown High School in 1970. He worked at the New York Airbrake as a Machinist for 32 years, retiring in 2012.
He is survived by his brother, Jim Tierney, Lacona; a stepsister, Brenda House, Gouverneur; a niece Jamie Watson, Ontario; and many other special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends at Highway Legends.
“Radar” enjoyed spending time going to car shows, he loved his 1947 car Kaiser-Frazer. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone out!
He is predeceased by his parents, a stepfather, Al Bloss, Stepsister, Arlene Bloss, and a brother, Jerry Tierney.
