PHILADELPHIA- Helen Grant, 81, of Stonewood East Apts, died on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the home of her son, William under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. She was born on November 21, 1933 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Oda Lee & William Alice Coon Wilson. She was a textile worker for a filter plant in Tell City Indiana.
She is survived by several children, William Barnett, Philadelphia; Sherry Jarboe, Kentucky; and Joel Barnett, Kentucky. A brother, James Coon, PA; and a sister, Francis Mahoney, Indiana. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She will be buried in Lilly Dale Cemetery in Indiana along side her two deceased children.
