CARTHAGE- Dudley L. Adrian, 79, of NYS Route 3, died Saturday afternoon, August 26, 2017 at home.
He was born on April 15, 1938 in Deferiet, a son of the late Edgar and Dorothy Leavitt Adrian. He attended Carthage Central School before serving in the United States Army from 1957-1963. On July 17, 1971 he married the love of his life, Carolyn J. Foster in Carthage, New York. He retired from the Town of Wilna Highway Department, after more than 20 years of service.
Dudley is survived by three daughters, Jodi (George) Wilson of Carthage; Tammy (Tim) Meanor of Alpharetta, Georgia; Jeanne (Cliff) Typhair of Elizabethtown, Tennessee; a sister, Shirley Petrie of Central Square; a brother-in-law, Bob (Carol) Foster; a sister-in-law, Connie Mulcahy; six grandchildren, Casey; Tyler; Tanner; Madison; Kaelie; and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years, Carolyn J., who passed only a week prior.
There will be a graveside service at Sunnyside Cemetery in Great Bend on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Canon Samuel P. Lundy officiating.
