Donald J. Gadbaw

September 27, 1932 — February 5, 2016

Natural Bridge- Donald J. Gadbaw, 83, of 26160 North Croghan Road, passed away on Friday, February 05, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York where he had been a patient for a few days. He was born on September 27, 1932 in Carthage, New York to the late George and Mabel Coyer Gadbaw. He attended school in Carthage. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Crown Zellerbach in Carthage for 43 years.
He is survived by his three children, Linda Dexter, New Hampshire; James Gadbaw, Watertown; and Kenneth Gadbaw, Natural Bridge. He is also survived by 6-grandsons, 12-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was an amazing Father, Grandfather & Friend to all he knew. He lived a long and truly wonderful life. He enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, fishing and playing with his great-grandson, Emmett.
He is predeceased by several siblings, Harold Gadbaw, George Gadbaw Jr., William Gadbaw, Viola Myers, Dorothy Steria, Pearl Woodside, Ruth Hill, Ida Mono, and Frances Gebo.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Natural Bridge Fire Hall from 1-4 PM. Burial will be held privately by the family.
