CALCIUM – David Allen Johnson, 66, of 24459 US Route 11, died peacefully on Thursday evening, September 19, 2024, at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on April 22, 1958, in Watertown, NY, the son of Richard D. Johnson, Sr. and Madeline M. Tiff Johnson. David graduated from Watertown High School with the Class of 1976 and went on to retire after a fulfilling career with the United States Postal Service for 30 years. 

He married Cindy L. Pease on January 12, 1980, in Watertown.

David was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a talented bowler who was a member of the 700 Club Hall of Fame and had a perfect game of 300. He also enjoyed golfing, playing poker, and fishing. He has been the drummer in several local bands.

David was also an avid sports fan, who always rooted for the NY Yankees, the NY Giants, and the Syracuse University Orange Basketball team.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Johnson, Calcium; his daughter Kristy (Paul)Trimper, his sons, Michael Johnson and his significant other Ashlee, and Brian (Marcy) Johnson and his grandchildren; Lillian Johnson, Rizzo Trimper, Jacob Johnson, Aidan Trimper, and Matthew Johnson, and a brother Richard D. Johnson, Jr. 

All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for David, which will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at 16935 County Road 59, Dexter, NY 13634
