Connor L. Berrus

Copenhagen Connor L. Berrus, 24, of Woodbattle Road, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, November 2, 2018 at his home.
Connor was born on February 14, 1994 in Lowville, NY, a biological son to Paul Berrus and Molly (Monaghan) Manuel. He was raised by his mother and father, Dennis and Juli (Monaghan) Hebert. Connor graduated from Copenhagen Central School in 2012 and went on to receive an Associates degree in Allied Health from SUNY Jefferson Community College in 2015. He was currently employed at Lundy Services Medical Transportation as a medical transport driver. He was a long-time valued employee of the Lundy Funeral Home as well. His smile brought comfort to many families, as well as his co-workers. He also enjoyed working at Doors Plus for his uncle, Jeff Monaghan.
Connor celebrated his life with his parents, Dennis and Juli, Copenhagen; his biological mother, Molly (Ron), Natural Bridge; two brothers, Taylor (Chelsea Miller) Berrus and Jeremy Berrus, Copenhagen; two sisters, Hiedi (Caleb) Santamour and their son, Levi, Copenhagen; Mariya Clemons, Copenhagen; his grandparents, Donald and Ruth Warner, Adams; Winfred Monaghan, Watertown; Frances Hebert, Copenhagen; Donald and Barbara Berrus, Lowville; a cousin, Lindsey (Shane) Henry and her three children, Dylan and Brayden Warnick, Landon Henry, Copenhagen; two half sisters, Chanelle Berrus and Brianna Berrus, Lowville; as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his grandfather, Sylvio Hebert and a brother, Adam Hebert.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Carthage with Father Donald Robinson officiating. A burial will immediately follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Copenhagen, NY. A reception will follow the burial at the Copenhagen Fire Hall at 9950 State Route 12, Copenhagen, NY 13626.
Connor enjoyed refereeing sports games, wood burning and wood working, as well as golfing. Connor was also a member of the Copenhagen Fire Department Auxiliary. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew Levi. Connor was known to do anything for anyone, he would give the shirt off his back to help out.
