Cheryl A Tavernia

WEST CARTHAGE - Cheryl A. Tavernia, 64, 258 Champion St., #503, died Thursday evening, February 11, 2016 at home, under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
Born in Carthage on January 26, 1952, the daughter of Roy and Beverly Wormwood Babcock; she graduated from Carthage Central School. She was most recently a homemaker. She was a passionate animal lover and fought against cruelty to animals. She is survived by her sons and their fiances; Bryan & Dawn, Todd & Stacey and Ronnie & Melanie, along with her grandchildren; Conner, Chase, Blayke, Alexis, Raegyn and Brittlyn. Also surviving are her siblings; Doug Babcock, Debbie Zackoski, Cindy Reed, Kevin "Cubby" Wormwood, Kathy LaBarge, Diane Wormwood, Belinda "Lynn" Schermerhorn, Joe Wormwood and Lori Beirman and several nieces and nephews.
