Natural Bridge- Bruce A. Steele, of State Route 3 died peacefully on Monday evening February 17, 2025, at his home under the care of his wife.
A Memorial Service will held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Lundy Funeral Home Chapel with Canon Samuel P. Lundy, officiating.
He was born on March 5, 1959, in Logan, West Virginia to the late Joyce & Sylvia (Tork) Steele. After graduating from high school in Manassas, Virginia, Bruce enlisted in the United States Army. Throughout his many travels in the Army, he met Rayna Burgess. They were married in Sumter, South Carolina on November 18, 1993.
Bruce retired with an honorable discharge from the United States Army after 22 years of service as a Sergeant First-Class.
He is survived by his wife, Rayna Steele, Natural Bridge; his children, Bruce A. Steele II., and a daughter, Staci Franklin and her companion Greg Franklin. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Steele, and one grandchild, Tristan Franklin.
He enjoyed being up to date on the news, and movies, and loved spending time with his family and taking care of them.
