Bonnie Phillips

Black River Bonnie J. Phillips, 59, of State Route 3, passed away on Wednesday February 13, 2019, at home under the loving care of her family and Jefferson County Hospice.
Bonnie was born on November 3, 1959 in Carthage, New York, a daughter to the late Harry and Hattie (Potter) Schermerhorn. She attended Carthage High School. She was primarily a homemaker, raising her children. Bonnie truly loved spending time with her family.
On October 18, 1986, she married Bobby Phillips.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bobby; her children, Lawrence Hammill, Black River; Gary Hammill, Carthage; Jerry Hammill, Carthage; Bobbie Jo (Damien) Helton, Ohio; Bobby Phillips Jr., Carthage; Lonnie Phillips, Carthage; Bonnie Phillips, Natural Bridge; her siblings, Ada Segouvis; Harry Schermerhorn; Larry John Schermerhorn; Carol Nutting; Cindy Lacomb; Hattie May Schermerhorn; Gary Lee Schermerhorn; Tuesday Houghtaling; Caroline Johnson; Sharon Lalone, and 13 grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents and a sister, April Davis.
Per request of the family, no public services will be held.
