Carthage - Allan E. St. Louis Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2025, while at his home on the Texas Road.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.

Allan, more commonly known to most as "Junior", was born on February 19, 1962, to the late Allan St. Louis Sr. and Edna (Feistamal) St. Louis. He was in the class of 1980 at Carthage Central School. Upon the end of his school days, he was employed at E.C. Crooks Monument Co., worked several local farm jobs, and always, always worked in the woods cutting pulp for local mills, such as Deferiet. Jr. also cut and sold firewood to many of the surrounding areas over the course of his 44-year career.

Jr. was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt with his son and friends. Fishing was always a go-to, especially with his eldest grandson, Ronnie. Jr. was also an avid trapshooter and often competed on the Beaver River Fish & Game team in his teenage years. His love for shooting trap was a life-long hobby; he was a member of the Carthage Rod & Gun Club Trap team for over 30 years and could be found using his beloved Remington Wingmaster 870 during his weekly competitions there. Additionally, Jr. served for some time as the President of the Carthage Rod & Gun Club.

Jr. is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicky St. Louis; two daughters, Casey and Heidi; two sons, Trevor and Alex (Kelly); two grandsons, Ronnie and Remington St. Louis; a sister, Karen Wilder; many cousins; and many close childhood friends. 

He is predeceased by his great-grandparents; his grandparents; his parents; a brother, Ronald James; and several aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jr's name may be made to the Carthage Rod & Gun Club, and can be sent to 3823 Deer River Road, Carthage, NY 13619.
