William Runge

Carthage- William Runge, 70, of Fulton Street passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, while at the Syracuse VA Medical Center.

He was born on July 23, 1953, in Carthage to Henry & Leticia (Waters) Runge.

He served in the United States Army for the first half of his life. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked as an electrician and worked in the union at various jobs.

William enjoyed playing his guitar, going fishing up here in the North Country, playing pool, and going for a swim.

William is survived by his mother, Leticia Runge of Carthage; his sons, Kie Runge and Jason Runge; his siblings, Nancy Mushtare of Carthage, and Brad Lee Runge of Pulaski; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Braden Runge.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
