Ogdensburg – Adam L. Campany, 50, formerly of Carthage, passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2024, while at his home.
Adam was born on December 3rd, 1973, in Carthage, NY to Nancy (Rushlow) and Raymond Campany. He graduated from Carthage Central High School with the Class of 1992.
Adam had a short life but held many jobs in the service industry. He worked for many years as a manager of McDonald’s restaurants in Carthage, Lowville, and Adams Center. He additionally worked at Pizza Hut and for JRC for several years in Ogdensburg.
He enjoyed playing video games, hunting, archery, fishing, and racing.
A marriage to Shannon Mahoney ended in divorce.
Adam is survived by his mother, Nancy Campany; his brothers, Jeffery (Marcia) Campany, Mark (Marie) Campany; and a sister, Robin (Clint) Barlow; several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father, Raymond Campany; his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Gilbert Rushlow; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Campany; a niece, Aubrey Barlow; a cousin, Travis Rushlow; his uncles, Richard Rushlow, Jerry Rushlow, Larry Rushlow, Lloyd (Jenny Rushlow) Rhone; and a sister-in-law, Marie Campany.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced by the family.
