WEST CARTHAGE—Michele L. Desrosiers, 64, of North Broad Street, died on Thursday evening, September 21, 2017 at her home.
Michele was born on March 9, 1953 in Natural Bridge, New York, a daughter of the late Russell & Geraldine E. Campbell Desrosiers. Michele was a 1971 graduate of Carthage Central School, a 1996 graduate of the University of Mississippi, and a 1991 SUNY Jefferson Community College, and a 1993 graduate of SUNY Oswego, with a MS in Human Relations. She held many jobs; she worked at the University of Mississippi, Elvis Presley’s Graceland, and recently retired from the Carthage Free Library, Carthage, NY.
She is survived by a daughter, Kristina E. Champ, Monterey, California; a son, Eric P. (Jennifer) Francomano, Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister, Sharon (David) Johnson, Carthage; three granddaughters, Samantha Champ, Monterey California; Courtney and Raven Francomano, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandsons, Brandon and Ethan Champ, both of Monterey, California; Quentin Francomano, Little Rock, Arkansas; and a brother, Gary R. Paul, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased from her maternal grandparents, Chester and Betty Smith.
Michele was a traveler and a dreamer; Ireland was her next goal. She loved her cats, Pepper and Pixie Styx, and she loved to read. She was a gifted crafter; sewing, knitting, and crochet, and embroidery.

A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Hillside Cemetery, Natural Bridge. There will be no public calling hours.
